According to the English media, Manchester United is expected to have a dream lineup in the upcoming season as they prepare to welcome two quality signings from the Serie A league.

During this summer transfer window, manager Erik ten Hag has secured a new contract by acquiring midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea for a total value of £60 million to strengthen their midfield.

However, the “Red Devils” still aim to make additional quality signings to compete with the “big clubs” in the Premier League and the upcoming Champions League season.

Old Trafford is preparing to bring in goalkeeper Andre Onana as a replacement for the expired contract of De Gea, which ended in late June. Manchester United is said to have finalized the agreement and is preparing to announce the Cameroonian goalkeeper in a few hours.

Manager Ten Hag is also trying to bolster the attacking position by recruiting forward Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. Manchester United has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the Danish striker, and fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of this highly anticipated signing before their tour in the United States on July 20th.

Man Utd Dream Lineup Next Season

The Mirror has also provided a predicted lineup for Manchester United schedule in the upcoming season when they officially kick off against Wolverhampton on August 14th.

Goalkeeper: Andre Onana

The Cameroonian goalkeeper is expected to claim the number one spot in goal, although Dean Henderson is also hoping for a starting position. Onana’s ability to play with his feet aligns with the playing style that manager Ten Hag desires in his lineup.

Defenders: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw

Manager Ten Hag may choose to continue using the defenders who started in the previous season. Aaron Wan-Bissaka will occupy the right-back position after his excellent performances last season, replacing Diogo Dalot.

Meanwhile, the center-back pairing will consist of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire as backup options in case the English center-back doesn’t leave. Luke Shaw will assume the left-back position.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount

The inclusion of Mason Mount is likely to provide stability to Manchester United’s midfield, replacing Christian Eriksen, who experienced a decline in form towards the end of the previous season. The English midfielder will support Bruno Fernandes in midfield.

Forwards: Antony, Rasmus Hoilund, Marcus Rashford

The arrival of Rasmus Hojlund will complete Manchester United’s striker position, following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Old Trafford. This will allow Marcus Rashford to take up his preferred position on the left wing, while Antony will cover the remaining wing.
