The new Premier League season 2022/23 will begin on Friday, August 5, with Crystal Palace hosting Arsenal. Manchester City, the defending champion, will begin its most recent title defense two days after hosting West Ham at London Stadium. Last season, Manchester City won its sixth EPL championship overall and second straight since 2012.
